hey

Just go to Settings > Applikations > Manage Applications and then select the one you want to uninstall and do so ^^

This does not work for out of the box apps!

The only way to kill the native apps like Facebook and Amazon is to root your phone and rename the apps.

If you rename the apps, that breaks OTA updates.

You could rename them and then put back the original names before an update.

That's what I remember. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

love to but there not listed in the applications, My guess there out of the box. SO how do I get the out of the box ones gone.?

It's not as easy as it sounds for most....Please read everything you can before trying to Root your phone. You can brick it...(i.e. turn it into a paperweight)

i agree... stay away from 'rootin' until you've researched it and decided it's what you really want. the stock apps (if you're not using them) aren't doing any more than using an icon space (yes it's loaded in the RAM but if you're never running them they won't make a dent in performance.)
