Downloading Apps onto Computer

Is it possible to download apps on your computer? I don't have internet on my phone, and it's too long to explain why I'm able to use it on this computer and not the phone itself v_v; If so, how would you transfer them from the computer to the SDCard? (And, how do I go about finding the apps on the internet? I mean, I've tried some sites but they only gave information on the application, not any download links.)

The phone apps are made for the phone. You would need some kind of emulator to run them and they would be 3.7inches big on your screen unless the emulator worked it's magic.
