Download permanent maps?

I work out in the field quite often. I usually dont have good internet on my phone out there.

My problem is .. satellite images usually show most of the dirt roads I need to find my way back to a main road .. but, It has to download them constantly.


So If im in BFE with no net service, then I have no maps ...



Is there an app that stores maps onto my sd card? I dont need everywhere saved just a certain part of TX

Oruxmaps among others allow you to use trekbuddy atlas creator to download many map types including google satellite imagery for use offline. It doesn't do navigation I don't think.

that one doesnt appear to have satellite images ... which is required. none of the back country roads are marked on the normal map
