Downing loading pics from text message?

does anyone have trouble downloading from a text message...i have a droid 1 ???

i receive a text message, and when i click to download what was sent to me in the message, it continues to say downloading and i cannot view the picture?

I had that happen, have you tried a reboot or clearing the cache in the messaging app
