Don't forget about Google Wallet

Apple Pay is among some of the announcements made at the Apple event that continues to get some media buzz. As an Android fan I am glad Apple is finally embracing NFC vs coming up with a new standard. With Apple in the game it should speed up the process for getting merchants up to speed to support wireless payments. But as of now there are some merchants out their that currently support wireless payments and many of the workers were shocked when they saw me use my Nexus to pay vs pulling out a debut card. Here are some of the merchants that currently support wireless payments:

• McDonalds
• Panera Bread
• Nissan
• Starbucks
• Toys R Us
• CVS
• Champs Sporting
• Home Depot

What are some other merchants you were able to successfully use Google Wallet at?

Also to note (http://consumerist.com/2014/09/12/walmart-best-buy-wont-accept-apple-pay-at-their-stores) there are some stores that have the set up to accept NFC payments but are not accepting Google Wallet.
