Does the GN support headphone playback controls?

I heard it was a feature of ICS but I wanted to know if it supports headphone controls like volume control and pause and skip controls?

My Bang and Olufsen 3i ear buds only the center button works so far. Waiting for headphone button controller app to be updated to see if volume presses are detected at all by the phone

I think there are some kinks to be worked out.

Spotify, for example, will keep the phone awake (screen off) as it streams music. Great. Hit the button on the earbuds, music pauses. Also great. Come back after about 2 minutes and hit the button again - nothing. Wake the device, and then hit the button, OK.

I get that someone don't know if it's the app or the OS doing this, but perhaps the device ought to wake on button input to the earbuds?

Well I hope it's the app. I hope the OS works fluidly when it comes to headphones and just listening to music already on the device.
