Do backups backup your kernel?

If I back up my Friends Droid x then restore the back up on my phone will I have his kernel version?

no. all you will be backing up are the apps.. not the Rom.


you can back up the rom with other software but the SBF's are available on the interwebs to d/l

Like stated no and if you restore it you will be stuck in eternal bootloop and have to sbf
