DLNA confusion....?

I see this DLNA app on the phone but I don't know what it is for. What is it and does it have anything to do with the wifi.

What is DLNA?

Basically, with DLNA, you can connect your phone to any DLNA compliant server/client... PS3s, Windows computers, etc.

Easiest use to think of is if your PC doesn't already have a DLNA server on it (I think WMP in W7 does), install the free version of Tversity, and point it at your torrented movie files. Start DLNA on your phone, jump on your wifi network, and copy movies to your phone wirelessly.
