Direct Dial Icon

the M or H is to let you know which number you're dialing. it's this way so that you can have multiple direct dials to the same contact.

So to clarify, if you want to get rid of the M or H, you have to make sure that contact only has 1 number attached to them. If they have 2, then as stated above, it will assign the letter to let you know which number you are dialing.

EDIT: Nevermind that, it doesn't work.

Not necessarily.

I have only 1 number listed for my wife and her direct dial icon still has the M on it. It's related to what spot you have the number listed in the contact information.
