Dictionary and adding words

Ok, if someone can teach me how to add words to the dictionary that actually works please let me know. i went into settings and added words and yet when I try and text people the words I type keep getting changed into whatever word the dictionary things i wanted to type.

For example, i type in my girl's name... Richelle... Dictionary gives me something completely different, even after I added the damn word.

On the OG when you typed a word, you could select it by tapping, then add to the dictionary by tapping again... no such luck on this thing and I don't know why.

Ok nevermind. I was using Go Keyboard and I had to dig way into the settings and find the little use user dictionary checkbox and click that to get the stuff to work. Finally got it recognizing some words. Hopefully it will keep updating itself. Only took me 5 days to figure this out. Hope the entire phone isn't such a big curve... ICS.. hmmm
