Dial up speeds...

My RAZR maxx, less than a year old, has recently slowed to a crawl. Internally the phone runs fast, (i keep it relatively cleaned out), my 3g speeds suck. Tried to see if Verizon had an answer, they said try *228. That didn't work. I'm at my witts end. Fdr after jb update, no help to data. Please help....

What? They told you to 228... that does no good on these phones, thunking if I remember right that 228 is a no no on these phones because of the sim cards.

Try getting them to replace your sim card with a new one.

I did some digging at work and found everyone with Verizon has these speed issues. Where as the att guys get full 4g. I don't understand...

Check you google+ app settings for instant upload. I was having a lot of problems with my battery life and slow speeds and it turned out to be google + trying to upload a bunch of pictures and videos. Turning off instant upload made a great improvement.

I've got google + disabled. Battery is great. Very slow 3g is the only issue. Some think Verizon may be choking the line in preparation for the 4g rollout. Either way, it's maddening.
