Grants you access to a whole slew of controls that can tweek or brick your phone. Most of us just enable debugging, to push stuff, move files, etc.

Well, yeah, sure, but...why? I mean, as long as you don't touch anything you don't remotely understand, you're fine.

The main thing I do in Dev Controls is turn on the control that keeps the screen from turning off while charging. If you use navigation it is a must do.

I use it to turn off animations to make the phone even snappier between screens, pages, etc

OHHHH, I like this!! Super nice when my phone sits plugged in for hours as a wired tether!!
