Been running Fission 2.4.3 on my D2G for a few weeks now, but wanted to go back to stock and start over. I used the Deodex/Busybox file to unroot- no problem. Tried to root again- prob. Phone is stuck in boot loop, alternating red eye and white DROID logo. I have RSD Lite up on the computer, and have phone in Bootloader. How do I get SBF in there? Do I load it in RSD? I can see the phone in RSD- what next?

Thanks for help!

Deodex/busybox ROM from angdroid is rooted. You are not unrooting by installing it. You likely messed up something.. Try to go wipe cache from recovery, if this doesn't work - SBF.
SBF is easy to do. Simply read the stickies.

There was a wonderful sticky that told how to root, unroot, sbf- all of it. But for the life of me I can't find it tonight. I did get back into CWM by some mysterious stroke of luck, and was able to get to my backups. Thinking I might just leave it there for the night.

Thanks to both of you for your replies. It's great to have such a wonderful support community- it adds to my confidence in trying some of these new processes with this phone!

*cough* its stickied at the top of the subforums *cough*

Sent from my Liberated D2G

Yeah, but I'm thinking there was another one. Maybe it was someone's writeup that I read and not a sticky, but it should have been. It Root, CWM, FRM, etc in it. That's the one I was looking for.

But I did recover, thanks to a back up. And that idea came from all of you!
