Deleting e-mail from TB but not on PC

This is my 1st real smartphone. Im a former BB owner. On the BB when deleting e-mails I could delete them on the phone not on my pc at home if I wanted. On the TB when I delete it on the TB it deletes on my pc at home as well. Cant figure out to change this.

I think there is an option in either the incoming or outgoing settings.

I'll wait for someone else to chime in, but check those.

How is your email setup? IMAP or POP?

Oh Charger07 ..... why would you want to use AOL with a Google phone? Go get a Gmail account and rid yourself of all the problems. You can customize your email with Gmail. AOL is in a world of its own with its email server.
