Deleting an IMAP email account

Can someone please tell me how to do delete an IMAP account.​

Welcome! I've not used IMAP for quite some time but you should be able to open the email app and go to settings and account then tap remove account. Or you may be able to by tapping menu, tap settings, tap accounts, and remove the account

^ though note you CAN'T delete the 'default' account. So if you're trying to delete the account you used to setup the device you'll have to add another one and make it the 'default' account. If the above doesn't help post some more details (what type of account, what device ect.).
