delete multiple emails

How can I select and delete multiple emails without opening and deleting one by one?

What app are you using? If you are using the native pop3 app, then stop it!! That app sucks.

Try K-9. It is a much better app than stock and will let you do "batch" things.

You can also switch to the Gmail app and have your pop3 accounts polled and then emails will be pushed to the phone. You do have to go to the Gmail home page on your computer to set that up, but it works really well. You can also batch delete with the Gmail app.

Yep, or Handcent works as well. You go to Gmail, and there are many msgs, you can read the title, hit the check box and delete the ones you do not want to read.
