Delete Holidays in Gmail calendar display

I can delete the holidays from the PC's Gmail calendar display but not the Droid version.

Any one have a way to delete them, they just clutter up the display.

You don't delete them, you just "deselect" US Holidays in the Calendar app.

Open the Calendar app, then Menu>More> My Calendars and then you can select or deselect the calendars you want to use.

I did deselect the holidays in the calendar app but it only effects the PC side, the holidays still show on the Droid version, oh well...

Weird, it works perfectly on my Droid. I just tried it again to be sure and the Holidays go away when I deselect US Holidays.

FYI, I am using the native Calendar app.
