Delete an email account

How do I delete an email account. My gmail account setup is all screwed up and not working. I am using K9 Mail. I figure that if I delete the account and reload it, maybe, just maybe it will work correctly.

warning: if you delete your gmail account, you wont be able to re-create it.

Thanks. Now how do I fix the sync issue? When I plug my Dinc into the laptop, I get no sync prompt. When I then open the HTC sync application, it doesn't show that I am connected. Wassup?

Be careful. If the Gmail account you want to delete is your only one you have to factory reset the phone. I had to go through that. ¦< As for the syncing, best I could tell that HTC sync program only syncs your contacts. Pretty useless.
