Default Messages app announcing some sender names

Hello, I am using the default text messaging app "Messages" on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and I have an interesting problem. Two out of three specific contacts from my "Favorites" (aka "starred") list will have their names announced when I receive a text message from them. I really don't want this behavior for ANY of them except maybe in certain circumstances.

What do I need to do in order to turn it off for those two contacts? Or all contacts, if needed? I've looked all over the settings of the Messages app and the Contacts, but I seem to be missing it. I have not ever, as far as I can remember, created or used custom ringtones for any of my contacts, particularly and of the three specific ones I'm looking at.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
