default google voice typing?

I'm not sure I understand your question. It's there. When you tap to compose just look for the little microphone and tap it. I don't type texts anymore, unless I'm in a noisy area.

I find since the original jellybean update that when I hit the microphone to speak the text I get alot of server errors and cannot connect issues, especially with bluetooth, anyone else?

it automatically defaults to the keyboard.

i was wondering how to make it default directly to voice.
