Deciding on sticking with Android

I have had my Droid X for almost 2 years now and have had my fair share of headaches with it. For the first year it was great, but after that it started getting really slow and randomly rebooting itself, usually when I needed it most.

Since it was out of warranty when the problems started happening, I did a factory reset and all was well for about 2 weeks, then started happening again.

My wife had a similar situation, but hers was still under warranty and she got an X2 to replace it. Its been better, but still has some issues.

I have about 5 other friends that also have X's and have experienced the same things.

Is this just a case of bad luck with everyone? Is it common for just the X, not Droids in general, to have all these problems?

I really like Andriod when it works, but I find it not working when I need it to.

I'm looking at both the Galaxy S3 and the iphone 4s.

I need a phone to be able to bring up the camera when I click it. This doesn't happen with my X. I missed some pictures of my 4 month old yesterday because the camera app didn't wasn't to load. I just need a reliable phone!

I also have random reboots and a slow camera load time with my Droid X periodically. I have a couple friends with RAZR's though and they have no problems at all. It's just what happens with older Droid X's I think.
