I totally agree. The motor that vibrates the phone is very noisy and not well built. my dad has the lg vortex, his unlock screen is super smooth and so is the motor that vibrates the phone. It makes me jealous.

just try widgetlocker to replace the original lockscreen. super smooth and alot more functions.
anyway, i would prefer the bulid-in lockscreen if there is no vibration
