'Dead' Droid X Back to Life! Replace with CLN!?!?

I got a bit of a situation with my phone (Droid X) and wanted your opinion on the matter. I was in NYC last weekend and my phone wouldn't work, just the red Motorola symbol would appear and that's it. Brought to the Verizon store in NY and they tried a hard reset, still nothing would happen. The phone is still under warranty so they shipped a 'Certified Like New' replacement to me to my current address (I live in KC). Replacement phone arrived yesterday so I charged the Broken phone's battery to put in the new Replacement phone, I decided to try and turn on the Broken phone again and guess what - it turns on and seems to be working fine! This incident is the only problem I've had with the 'Broken' Droid X, so I'm wondering which phone I should keep - the 'Broken' phone that is working again, or the 'like-new' Replacement phone?

I would carefully check out your original DX... and if it checks out... keep it. A CLNR especially one for a model that old is probably a phone that's been through the mill. This is just my opinion.

The other side of the coin is this.... that phone had to pass rigorous tests and has all the latest greatest components in it. So tough call.
