Still not sure why they decided to put a 1GHZ dual core processor in the droid 3 and only 512MB of RAM. With all of the bloatware trying to run all of the time, it almost forces you to root it to get rid of that crap. Otherwise, most of your resources are getting used up before you even do anything on the phone. That being said, I still love the phone overall. No phone is perfect.
I still have a D-1 and due for an upgrade next month Nov. so you guys think i should go with a D3 or just go something else, never rooting just using phone as is, thanks much I appreciate it,

Getting there. It could use escape, ctrl, ...prnt scrn might be cool...
I think that moto's plan is to just incrementally improve the keyboard to keep us drooling over the latest versions. Maybe in 2050 we'll have a real keyboard. Slated for Q1 2050...
EDIT: ooh, non-removable battery. How very apple of you Motorola! Let's see, did the original RAZR from a few years back have a removable battery? Yeah, yeah it did. I question the true motivations and technical necessity of this move.
Yay for the 4G, I guess. Boo for the OS version; why release a new phone with 2.3.5 instead of ICS? No mention of memory. And finally with all the battery turmoil with the D3, would you really want a Droid without a removable battery--with a 4G radio on top (presumably) of everything else?
Now the Bionic seems to be doing fairly well with its battery, but I just don't like the idea of it at all.
