D2G stuck in Bootloader Error

I try to power on my D2G and I get a Bootloader error screen... here's what the screen says:

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:

I have tried using RSD Lite v5.7 and SBF'd using "VRZ_A956_4.5.608_1FF_01.sbf". RSD said it was 100% successful but after the reboot it brought me back to the same bootloader error screen.

Am I using the wrong SBF file? or has my D2G finally bricked...

yes use 2.3.4/ 4.5.629http://rootzwiki.com/topic/23207-how-to-sbf-unbricking-root-d2g-629/ aka 1FF-p3_droid2we_cdma_droid2we-user-2.3.4-4.5.1_57_D2GA-59-120117-test-keys-signed-Verizon-US.sbf
you can only use that sbf, from now on, no going back

Result: Worked like a charm, rebooted twice for some reason but it was successful. Now to mod the crap out of it!!! Thanks

Can we still root this? Cause what I know .629 cannot be rooted.

629 has been rootable for months (April 2012)
