Does anyone happen to know when the Droid 2 Global End of Life is? I was looking for a chart online but couldn't find anything.

Why do you want to know? Cell phones turn over really quickly.

It's not EOL yet - they still sell them. And probably will still be selling them until there are more global phones available. The D2 went EOL so quickly because of the D2G.

Lol yeah what i was going to say was that the 2 went eol with the induction of the global, maybe this will eol along with the x2/3?inc2 release. But thats really really hopeful.

I just pray we D2G users will get an official 2.3 before then.

D2 because of the D2G, DX because an X2G is in the works from what I hear...

The D2G currently has no EOL, since it is now a standard Global phone for Verizon. I expect EOL will be after the successor is released (no rumors yet even, so don't worry!).

It is also pretty much the only high end Droid with a physical keyboard. They will stock it to meet that market segment until a better QWERTY keyboard comes along.
