D2G contact search

My wife just got the D2G and when you contact search, it will show everything with whatever letters you typed instead of sorting them by first name. When I type the letter "m" it should start filtering all contacts by the starting letter "m", not all contacts with the letter "m" in it. Is there any way to set it up to do this or any app that works this way. I tried Go Contacts and this works just how I described but the screen doesn't rotate when you open the keyboard.

If you wanted to get down and dirty with coding I imagine it would be changeable but out of the box, no. I run Liberty Rom, so I dont have Blur contacts and yet it still does what you describe.

Nobody has Blur contacts. There is no such thing.
