
That's according to the CyanogenMod statistics site that tracks installations. CyanogenMod got its start as an enthusiast project built from Google's AOSP (Android Open Source Project) -- the public releases of Android's source code, updated each time Google releases a new version of the OS.
Cyanogen has certainly gained a whole lot of momentum. 2013 has been a great year for the Android team. It will be interesting to see what they can accomplish in 2014.
