If you're a part the CyanogenMod team, you have to feel pretty darn good about yourself right now. The recently announced partnership with Oppo for a CyanogenMod edition N1 was followed by the ever popular custom Android ROM reaching over 10 million downloads.

That's according to the CyanogenMod statistics site that tracks installations. CyanogenMod got its start as an enthusiast project built from Google's AOSP (Android Open Source Project) -- the public releases of Android's source code, updated each time Google releases a new version of the OS.

Cyanogen has certainly gained a whole lot of momentum. 2013 has been a great year for the Android team. It will be interesting to see what they can accomplish in 2014.
