CWM Issues

I recently rooted my Droid Razr, and am now having some issues. I've been trying to install the CWM rom with the bootstrap app. I go to recovery, select and install the cwm zip (in safe mode) then reboot. at this point, i get stuck in a boot loop and have to volume down and power my phone back into recovery, get out of safe mode, and reboot again. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong?

Are you sure you are not using "safestrap" - CW as far as I know does not have a safe mode in it (unless I am not fully understanding the question)...
