CWM and nandroid backups

I'm kinda new to this CWM/ROM manager thing, I've been using SPR almost since day 1. My question is...can nandroid backups made with SPR be flashed using CWM?

No...they are not interchangable.

If you want to flash both you can use RZrecovery by raidzero.
