Customizing

I have the newest nightly on my droid 2. I have the red remix theme but how do i change the battery icon and all the icons on the notification bar at the top? Also do i need any apps to customize any further?

If the icons don't change and the theme is supposed to change them, either reboot, or get "notification restart" in the Market.

It should theme everything instantly. Sometimes a reboot is necessary to make sure all the icons get themed, but the notification bar should be instant

ok thanks it worked..but now im noticing im recieveing text messages late. could this be because of the theme?

also how do i customize the dialer? everybody has dialers with cool colors but mine is just plain black?

Each theme has their ver of the dialer. Some are more themed than others.

Did some googleing earlier and found this... Had to share

• CM7 Theme Chooser themes - CyanogenMod Forum

  But if your running a launcher other than the stock CM7, the themes wont be applied. But found a awesome Cyanogen theme for GO Launcher EX.

  If they are general CM themes they will be applied, you just won't get any Launcher-specific theming if you're not running ADW.
