One of the many reasons you may want to S-Off your HTC One M9 is the fact that it allows you to have full control over your device. Security Off means you can flash anything to your M9. This means you can now flash custom splash screens. This is a good way to customize your device and make it truly your own. Developer "Soldier9312" has released a long list of custom splash screens.
So far splash screens include 2 Shelby screens, 2 Iron Man screens, 1 Stark industry screen, 1 Breaking Bad screen, and 1 Call Of Duty Ghost Screen. There are many more screens to come, and Soldier9312 will also be adding instructions on how to create your own Splash Screens. To install you will need to Download the splash screen, boot m9 into fastboot mode, and then type a few commands via adb. Head to the link below for downloads and the full guide.
