Create custom rom

Im interested in creating a rom for the DROID bionic. Is there any programs I can use. I tried google but no luck

I am interested in getting into modding and rom'ing as well so i will keep an eye here and perhaps we will both find out something fun... luck to you means luck to me as well mate lets hope there are some out there willing to set us on the right path... heres hoping!
