Today news of softbank investing in Sprint hit the interweb and has me wondering if this could help shift the balance of power. Ever since verizon bought alltel they have cemented themselves as the clear #1 as far as carriers are concerned. But Verizon has taken the mindset that we have the biggest and baddest network and people wanting to be apart of it has to pay what verizon says along with following their rules which seem to no longer be oriented at making for a better customer service experience. If Sprint is able to get the capital to expand improve their infrastructure could this change things for the good.
