The above pic shows a Costco database with the Samsung Stealth phone for Verizon. It indicates that they will be taking pre-orders for the device on March 24th. It also shows a tentative launch date of April 7th.

Intriguingly, it looks like it will receive the actually "Droid" branding, making it the Samsung Droid Stealth, and the pic further confirms that it will be an LTE 4G device. Maybe those folks that held out past the TBolt will turn out to be the lucky ones after-all... what do you guys think?

OK I'll be the first to ask since when I post something like this I'm told right away it's photoshopped. How do you know this is real and not photoshop?

My wife's Captivate just barely got a message for an update for Froyo...BUT it's not an OTA, it was instructions on where to go to download Kies a manager that helps install the download of Froyo to push it to the phone. Such a pain in the ass! Heard Captivate owners had been waiting soo long for this update too then to get the message that they have to go through all these steps just to get it. Samsung is horrid on updating their phones. Heard HTC is great with updates. I'll keep my T-bolt as well

Too bad VZW got the low end model of the Galaxy S line-up. All the good Android devices are going to AT&T now.

I really dislike Verizon for not being more aggresive and settling for "old" tech now. They got the iPhone now what do they care about us android users : )

Samsung is horrible at updating their devices.. No thanks

I was playing with an HTC Inspire on Saturday that has me rethinking not buying the Thunderbolt...

I just came from the Inspire (returned it during the trial period), its a great phone, little smoother than the TB actually but the capped AT&T data (2.85down/1.45Up with Inspire...check my pic below for speeds with my T-Bolt) plus no unlimited plans from AT&T anymore really is what made me take it back. I stream Pandora all day & I was up to 600mb on my 2gb plan in only 5 days!

Plus I really like the TB's kickstand & the fact it'll have a desktop cradle, AT&T has NO accessories for their Inspire what so ever!
