Corprate Sync PIN number??

When I set up Corporate Sync for my work email, it had me select a pin number. Now my phone randomly asks me for the PIN number just to get in to the phone itself. Can this be turned off? I don't see anything in the Corporate Sync settings that relate to passwords or PINs.
