Copying sd card

I. Just got a droid x which comes with the 16m sd card. I had a droid 2 with the 8m card and I had photos on it.

I put the 8m card into the x so that I could retrieve them, but I obviously would like to put them on the 16 m card. How do I transfer them?

Thanks

I am assuming you mean an 8gig and a 16gig card versus meg.

The best way is to cable up your old phone to your PC, mount the SD and copy the entire contents to your PC in a special folder.

Then cable up your new phone, mount the SD card from the PC and copy the contents of each folder into the same folder on your new phone if a same folder exists. If not I would start by copying the entire folder over to the new phone. There are some differences on folders between phones and OS levels, so you may have to play with the placement of some files for your phone to locate them through the APP's.

Pictures, sounds, music and video are the ones that commonly need to be in a specific location for the players to find the files.
