converting pics

how do you convert the pictures from you old phone and memory card to the droid and the memory card it comes with?

Please clarify.

Are you wanting to convert your pics from one format, ie .jpg, to another, ie .png. Or, are you wanting to transfer your pics from one phone to another?

i'm also trying to do this with my new droid-- i'vve inserted the old memory card into my droid, the images have appeared in my gallery, but how do i copy them so that I can remove this memory card and put in the new one?
