For many of you Music is your life. You listen to your favorite tracks to get you through the day, and music playback is one of the main functions of your Android device. There are a few ways to control playback of your music on your phone or tablet. You can control your music from the lockscreen which can be convenient at times since it allows you to skip a track, pause, ect without having to unlock your device. This can be great for runners or those who are driving and can't have the distraction of unlocking the phone while driving. Most music players in Android allow you to control your music from the notifications panel, but this just means you have one more step in pulling down the notification panel.
Developer "Flextrick" has released an app he calls "Floating Music Widget" this widget floats over any app and allows you to change music from anywhere in the Android OS. There are plenty of customization options like the ability to change transparency, size, and the position of the floating widget. This app is pretty easy to use, just start your music player and swipe towards the center, and the widget will appear. This is still in BETA so there may still be a few bugs. Head to the source link to try this app for free.
