Contract up and all of the sudden my Razr is acting up

I love my Razr, probably the best phone I have ever owned. It has had some battery problems that I figured out and has been great up until last week when my contract with Verizon was up. All of the sudden none of my custom ring tones are working anymore and my phone is starting to run real slow. I was going to do a full wipe and start over again but it is such a pain to do. I guess I will have to go through the whole wipe process or buy a new phone even though I don't want to do either of those options. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Hard reset [FDR] and start over.

You might want to try a different sd card there is another thread on here where people have had the same problem and cured it that way.
