Contacts sync

I have been attempting to properly sync my Outlook contacts from work, and so far failed. Work/IT installs Corp Sync which is poo! Next I tried Touchdown, which is far better for email etc, but can't get contacts to sync natively. Don't really want to go the Google route. Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong?
