Constant updating... (i think)

I noticed recently my G2 seems to like to update a lot...I think that's what it's doing. It the circle with arrows on top next to the other icons, like battery, time, signal, etc. I can't use internet or anything else while it does it.

Any ideas? It did this 3-4 times Saturday afternoon, and I couldn't tell what changed. No apps updated, anything.

Other than that, still love my phone!

Your Gmail account is syncing.

Settings > Accounts > Google

You can't change the update duration, aside from completely disabling sync altogether. However, I'm not exactly sure why your phone is becoming virtually unusable during sync.
