I have successfully connected my RAZR M via USB to my WINDOWS 8 laptop to view and manipulate data on my installed SD card. But on an WINDOWS XP machine it sees the card but I cannot access it. Is there a driver or patch I need for WINDOWS XP to allow the computer to access the SD card?

As far as I know the xp machine needs sp3 and wmp 10 or newer..

I agree, but it could be something else that has been installed or updated in the computer that's blocking it.
