confusion with D2 [non-global] getting 2.3...

Im not understanding what all is going on. I just updated a friends Droid X and he got v2.3 Gingerbread. I just checked my system updates on my Droid 2 [Non-global] and it said i have no updates...

so my understanding is that no one really knows when I'm going to be able to get Gingerbread v2.3 for my D2 [Non-global] through Motorola?

I talked to a verizon rep today, and from what he understood was the D2 may or may not get it. Its depending on what/how it effects the D2G. But the global could be release ota by the end of the week(at the earliest).

D2 will get gb by the end of the 3rd quarter. Don't listen to verizon reps.
