Confused droid x girl!!

I'm just curious how much you are paying for a 150MB plan a month, I'd be willing to bet if you go over that you can probably pay for a couple months for an unlimited plan in what it will cost you for the overage charges... :icon_eek:

The 150mb plan is $15 I believe.

Is this something new? I thought all smartphones required at least a $29.99 data package? I wonder what it costs per meg for overage... I bet alot of people are getting boned with that. :icon_eek:

Yeah, I hadn't heard of it untill I upgraded to the DX a couple weeks ago and they asked me which one I wanted. & I assume it's still $1.99/mb if you go over.

If you look at it realistically Verizon is taking advantage of people who may not know any better... some people simply may not be knowledgable about these things and end up paying for it... "oh wow this is cool" and suddenly they are in hock to Verizon.

The 150 plan is $15 more if you go over the 150 and you get 150 more. So $30 for 300 if you go over the first 150. Which makes the unlimited plan the unlimited a better deal.

However, the $15 does work for some people. For example, since I got my Galaxy Tab, all I really use my X for us email and the occasional web surfing when I can't take my tab to work. I would have to look at my usage, but on my Tab even I know that in half a month I've only used like 30mb because I'm constantly in wifi.

You just have to be aware of your usage. And when someone asks me about the $15 package I tell then that its great for people who have nearly constant access to wifi.
