Conference calling

I'm having issue establishing a conference call while on phone and I get another call. I can get a conference call to work if while I'm on the phone and place another call then link them. I read the help faq in droid x itself and believe I'm doing it correctly, even when it says I'm conferenced both other parties are not there but can switch from one to other.

Wow, was hoping to see an answer here. I have the same problem with my S3.
