Companion link--palm desktop to droid3. ?????

Getting my Droid 3 any day now......seems like a good deal to get companion link wifi to switch my calendar,contacts,todo and memos...............I want them to take over my pc and do it for me..........
Has anyone out there have any recent experience with moving palm desktop to droids........I don't use act or any other things I have read about....I just need to know about the basic 4 aps......
Any info would be greatly appreciated.......
