It seems like just a few years ago, I remember lots of people complaining about Verizon and how they lock everything down (at the time, the big thing was GPS on certain Blackberrys). Nothing got by them without a fee or simply being unusable.
I find it funny that now I have been reading many articles about how ATT is locking down this and locking down that (Backflip with its neutered Android OS) and Verizon is becoming increasingly open.
