Can't Send MMS to At&t Backflip Phone

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue... I have the Droid on Verizon and my girl has the Backflip on At&t. About a month ago, I stopped being able to send her picture messages.

Heres what I've found:
  • I can send pictures to Verizon people.
  • I can receive pictures from her.
  • She can receive picture messages from ATT people.
  • She can also receive pictures from a Verizon BlackBerry.
  • She cannot receive picture messages from ANY of the 3 droids that I tested (2.1 stock, 2.2 UD, 2.2 BB .4)

[*]I have verified that I can send picture messages to an ATT user besides her

So this one really has me stumped, and I'd like to get it sorted. The first thing I thought is ATT is blocking the picture because of the size (and the blackberries picture were smaller), so I tried a small cropped contact photo and still no good. She has called ATT and they have no idea, my next step is to call verizon and see if they know anything.

Any threads/answers on this?

TIA

Update:

We tried calling ATT and they said they didn't know anything and would call us back. Haven't heard anything yet.

I'm having the same problem too. No problems to other Verizon or any other carrier, but my girlfriend has at&t and she never gets my pics. I receive them from her, no problem. Its annoying and needs to be fixed somehow.

Just found another ATT user to send a picture to (in the same coverage area) and they received it with no issues. Based on what mh0234 says, I'll see if we can determine which phones it is limited to.

Well, now after a month it seems that the pictures are going though again.

Guess for now I'll write this off as just one more thing ATT can't do right.
