I would see if you could pay the difference to get a maxx. The reason I say that is the maxx has a better battery (so I've heard). If that isn't possible, talk to Foxkat. He is a Razr expert. He can make good call. Why are they replacing your Bionic?
Because I have had several replacements due to freezing...data dropping...and other various issues.....they finally offered so I took up tbe offer....don't get me wrong I really like the Bionic but I don't plan on upgrading so if they will change me to the razr under warranty why not...
I think that going from the Bionic to Razr is a good idea. I love my Bionic, but if the Razr had been available, I probably would have selected it. Hope it goes well for you! When you get it, if it still has Gingerbread on it, do the update to ICS then do a factory reset before doing any kind of data restoration. It cuts down on bugs. Then follow Foxkat's battery training so you get the best effort from your battery. Let us know how it goes!

just be very careful not to get it wet...don't let the battery die, don't use any other charger than the factory charger and an approved car charger. Ics has some differences that may take a little getting used too...

I came from bionic by choice. I honestly like the RAZR better. Definitely do the foxkat technique for much better battery life. I'm a light user and get around 17 hrs on my regular razr. Also smart actions helps battery a lot too. Good luck with your new phone.
When I had my razr I'd get 23 hrs. per charge with about 2.5 hours of screen time spread out over the day, but always felt the need to charge it up twice a day, never know. Watch your screen time and adjust accordingly and you will love it.
Well after a few days with this razr I must say.... I didn't realize how bad the data was on my bionic :-\....I love my razr :-D....and the battery has been doing really good for me so far.
Dude! You got hosed, I literally just got off tech support with verizon about my bionic. They are sending me a RAZR maxx tomorrow as a replacement. I told the guy I didn't want the RAZR because the battery and he said he would give me the maxx to avoid that problem. I used the old hug and mug tactic. I was just super nice to them and agreeable and then I was stern with the fact the bionic sucked and I rep agreed that a new phone was the remedy.
